VodaGuard C is a Copper Sulfate Pentahydrate that treats a variety of harmful cyanobacteria strains while mitigating risk to the surrounding fish and beneficial bacteria. Newport Lake is classified as a non-motorized lake and is a favorite for kayakers, canoers, and fishermen.
VodaGaurd's follow-the-bloom" technology is ideal for this waterbody because it provides a low and slow release that doesn't disrupt fish or other aquatic life. It simply floats on top of the water and allows the wind to carry it until it makes contact with the infection and cures it.
